Terry Lissiman

Terry Lissiman

Chair, Northern Zone

Terry Lissiman is a Northern Zone representative on the WRLC and has been an owner/operator in the A and B Zones for over 34 years. Prior to this Terry worked in Prawning, Tuna and Abalone fisheries. He has worked with DPIRD’s Research Department on a number of research projects.

Terry has brought to the WRL Board a wide experience of being an active member on Ministerial Advisory Boards, Councils and Fisherman’s Committees and has the historical knowledge and commitment to assist the western rock lobster industry in maintaining sustainability. Terry is also a Director on the Board of the Geraldton Fishermen's Cooperative.

Fedele Camarda

Fedele Camarda

Deputy Chair, Southern Zone

Fedele Camarda is a third-generation Fremantle lobster fisherman with over 30 years' experience and who currently skippers his family vessel. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and remains active as a relief teacher.

Fedele has been involved with the western rock lobster industry since 2008 and was previously on the WRL Board from 2009 to 2011 serving as Chair for one year during this time. He is also currently on the Combined Zone C Association (CZCA) Committee. His experience in these representative bodies has been invaluable in terms of understanding the complexities of the industry and how important it is to have strong representation through the industry.

Justin Pirrottina

Justin Pirrottina

Director, Northern Zone

Justin Pirrottina is second generation fisherman and has been fishing for about 30 years with the last 25 years skippering his own boat. Justin currently fishes across both Northern and Southern Zones with operations out of Geraldton and Jackson Island in the Abrolhos.

Bruce Cockman

Bruce Cockman

Director, Northern Zone

Bruce Cockman is a second-generation fisher and has been an owner-operator for his entire life. Bruce's family is heavily invested in the Western Rock Lobster Fishery and he has been working for his family business since leaving school. Bruce currently fishes both Northern and Southern zones from Jurien Bay to Kalbarri. He has previously been a director of WAFIC and the President of the DPFA.

Bruce brings vast experience and knowledge to the WRL Board and hopes that with all his years of fishing, he can continue to help further the excellent work already done in the Western Rock Lobster Fishery. Bruce wants to be a voice for all fishers, working towards a fair and reasonable approach to maintaining sustainability and strengthening their access rights.

 

Matthew Fong

Matthew Fong

Director, Northern Zone

Matthew Fong has been involved in the fishing industry for 28 years and he is currently serving as a northern representative with Fishing Family’s WA.

Matthew is also a committee member with GPFA.

Brad Arnup

Brad Arnup

Director, Southern Zone

Brad Arnup is a passionate representative of the Western Rock Lobster Industry and has actively had a lead role in the industry for more than 40 years. Brad's experience varies as both an owner and an operator, fishing from 1981 and has been the owner of Oceaneer Marine Broker since 2007 to 2020.

He now continues to trade in the sale or lease of Western Rock Lobster Units through his company West Coast Lobster Licence Sales. Brad was previously a representative of the Western Rock Lobster Industry in Parliamentary Inquiry into management and sustainability of the Western Rock Lobster Industry and President of the Central West Coast Professional Fishermen's Association.

Clinton Moss

Clinton Moss

Director, Southern Zone

Clinton Moss has been an active and passionate fisher and license holder for nearly 20 years! Clinton is based out of Lancelin.

As a Director of the Board, Clinton hopes to progress industry forward, with a genuine interest in access rights and security, and with a policy that drives innovation and opportunity for all.

Roger King

Roger King

Director, Southern Zone

Roger King is a Master Mariner (DipNautSci), AMSA accredited marine surveyor and a member of Lloyds Panel of Special Casualty Representatives. Roger is a second-generation Tasmanian abalone diver and lobster fisherman. He has experience in controlling emergency marine responses, project management, negotiating, maritime law and contracts.

Roger is a strategic thinker with a preference for considered decisions based upon good research, information analysis and option investigation. He has experience sitting on other peak industry boards as well as academic and industry working groups.
