Global leaders in innovative, sustainable lobster management

First Coastal Tour of 2021 a Great Success

It was great to see so many of our members, fishers and stakeholders attend the WRL Coastal Tour meetings from Fremantle to Kalbarri last week to hear an update about the many issues WRL has been representing industry’s interests on over the last several months

We would like to thank everyone for bringing your experience and engaging in fruitful, constructive and open exchanges. We truly appreciate your participation and positive feedback on these important updates and hope you found the sessions informative and valuable and had the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow members.

Special thanks to Chris Battel, AMSA’s liaison officer; Graeme Baudains, DPIRD’s Principal Management Officer for Rock Lobster; and Tim Langlois and Anita Giraldo, UWA Research; for joining us at each meeting to provide their advice, expertise and updates relevant to our Members’ obligations and operations.

If you weren’t able to join us this time (or would like to review it again), here is the link to access the presentation.

As always, WRL appreciates your feedback. Please feel free to email  paige@westernrocklobster.org if you have any further thoughts or queries.
